Everything We Hoped for and More! by Jim 12/07/2015
he mountain views in this cabin are amazing. We loved sitting on the comfortable couches and looking out into the mountains. I'd never felt so secluded before. It really was the most relaxing place I've ever stayed. The owner was very prompt to respond to any questions or requests we had leading up to our stay. She even let us check in a few hours early. The property manager is very friendly and will get right back to you if you need anything. We can't wait to go back! There were some comments made about the difficulty in getting up to the cabin. We drove up and down the mountain at least 5 times both day and night in a front wheel drive Ford Explorer and had absolutely no issues. Yes some of the turns are sharp and some of the roads are steep but the view at the top makes it all worth it.

View is Breathtaking Cabin is Beautiful by ?? 10/21/2015
This cabin is absolutely perfect with everything you need for comfort! Beds are comfortable, cabin is clean and kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. We fixed smores over the fire pit which was nice. We had deer in the backyard morning and night. It was very relaxing. Suzan is more than helpful. We will be back in February. I hope everyone enjoys their stay as much as we did.

Great Experience by Junior 10/16/2015
My wife and I had a great get-a-way. Eagles View was perfect. The view was fantastic. The sunrise and sunset was as if I was looking at a post card. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely recommend this cabin to my friends and family. The owner was helpful as well.

Comfortable w Spectacular Changing Views by Daniel M. 10/03/2015
We spent a very relaxing week at Eagles View and the accommodations were just as the owner described them. It is an older cabin that has been updated and as such, has a lot of "character". Set your GPS to Ingles Supermarket in Blue Ridge, pick up your first day's food and supplies then follow the driving instructions to the cabin. The roads to the cabin were gravel, but well maintained and posed no problem to getting there. The gorgeous, ever-changing daily views from the deck were spectacular and the remote, yet convenient, proximity to Blue Ridge was very comfortable. The atmosphere is quiet and secluded, which was what we were looking for. After a few days of looking at Brasstown Bald (the highest point in Georgia) from this cabin, we hiked it with our two Labs to the top to get the view back toward the cabin!

A Beautiful Tranquil Place by Barbara T. 09/26/2015
We found this cabin to be just as described and everything we were looking for! A well maintained and beautifully decorated cabin with absolutely breathtaking views of the North Georgia Mountains! We found the owner to be responsive and courteous in all of our communications, she made certain we had all the information we needed prior to our arrival! I can't say enough about what a relaxing time we had this is the perfect place to get away from it all and unwind. The kitchen is well stocked to if you choose to bring food and cook your entire stay, there was nothing we needed that we did not have, everything was perfect! The road to the cabin is well maintained, we had no troubles! Thanks for an enjoyable time, we will tell our friends and family about this place and we plan on returning!

Like Being in a Tree House by Courtney B. 08/29/2015
This is a super cute little cabin. It's narrow and kind of old. The bathrooms and kitchen and basement have been updated and work really great. The rest of it's like an old wood house. It's situated with this amazing view over long mountain distances. What's nice is that it's old enough that the trees have all grown around it so when you sit on the decks you're up in the tree branches. The deck has a tin roof which was so wonderful during a short rain storm we had. The deck has no chairs. Just a picnic table. We brought folding chairs. The hot tub works well and is up under the deck and under a tree so it's cozy. The kitchen is well stocked. It had everything we needed. (Other than a citronella candle lol) This was truly the most private cabin we've ever rented. It's at the very tippy top of a mountain. Literally last house on a quiet road. Lots of parking and lots of places to walk dogs. Woods, grass, yard. The yard was even mostly fenced. I think a couple of baby gates and it would be fully fenced if you just want them to wander in/out. The main floor tv is new and a good size. Sofas were very comfortable. I would not try to have more than 4 adults in this house. There's just not that much seating and it's a narrow small roomed house. The 4 adults and 2 kids we had were comfortable moving around. Firepit outside was excellent. (there's some plastic chairs) The negatives on this house were the beds and the road to get here. The king in the master had no box springs. So the mattress hung on the wood pieces and we literally couldn't sleep on it. I've never seen anything like it. It also makes all kinds of noise if you shift at ALL. We mashed onto the queen in the other upstairs bedroom and it was not a comfortable mattress at all. It also is on a strange bed frame that has a huge gap behind your head. Worst bed we've ever been on. The road to get here was a nightmare. I was a WRECK going up/down it each time. One lane. Deep gravel. Straight UP hill. And it's LONG. It's been maintained but it washes out quickly I'm sure on those super steep uphill sections. The directions given even talk about backing up and rushing up that last hill. If you don't maintain your momentum you'll spin out. Which is what happened the first time I did it. So, you have to stand on the gas to get up the hill, but it's one lane so you just pray that no one is on the road too. Or an animal. It was AWFUL. Mini Van and SUV were used.

Caution by Dawn C. 07/27/2015
Owner of property is very rude and unprofessional. At the time of booking I was told to book through her website and not VRBO because she could save me $40. She said she had sent several emails which I never recieved and talked to her over the phone prior to the trip because I was not receiving the information. She stated she was sending the emails through a different website and eventually sent the emails through VRBO. I changed the number of guests via email and never heard back from her so I assumed the extra guests were ok. The cleaning lady shows up 40 minutes prior to check out time and sits in her car and watches you while on her phone and one of the guest's heard her say"they are finally leaving" while walking to our car making us feel very unwelcomed and rushed and deprived of our privacy. I recieved a nasty email and a voicemail an hour after leaving saying I was being charged for the extra guests and that I would possibly be charged for vandalizing the well. Which we had no idea there was a well on site. The charges were taken out of my account immediately before I had even spoken with the owner. Upon speaking with her she was very rude and said we had left water running and ran the well dry which we did not leave water running. The extra money she charged me I hope she uses to fix several things in the cabin like the 2 broken stairwell rails that are taped with black electrical tape causing a safety hazard for small children, removing the wasp/bee nest located on the main balcony, installing a lightbulb in the upstairs balcony light, the several other guest complaints in her comment book stating a problem with the downstairs bathroom, and hiring a new maid that does not leave the cabin covered in dust. If you are looking for a private and relaxing getaway this is not the place for you!
My Response
The woman that rented this cabin for 2 nights signed a rental agreement for 4 adults and 1 child. When our cleaner (who arrived 15 minutes early as it was her first time to go there and another guest was to check in that same day) witnessed 7 adults and 2 children. Our rental agreement clearly states that the property manager must approve any additional guests. I never received an email from this woman and that is why she did not get a a response. I did charge $20 per night per adult as the rental agreement states. Our rental agreement clearly states that all trash/food must be bagged and place in the receptacles provided to prevent wild animals such as black bears being attracted. These guests threw water melon, peanuts, pancakes, bread, and corn husks off the deck that overlooks one of the best views in the area. My handyman spent 2 hours removing the food because it was a horrific sight and would most certainly endanger the next guests by attracting predatory wildlife. I charged $100 for the food clean up along with the extra clean up inside due to excessive dog hair. My rental agreement also forbids smoking in the cabin or in the hot tub. My handyman found many cigarette ashes that had obviously been flicked as someone was sitting in the hot tub. My rental agreement allows for up to a $500 fine for smoking where prohibited, in the hot tub, or cigarette butts being left in or around the hot tub and deck. The hot tub was so disgusting that it had to be drained and scrubbed. Worst of all the water was left on for an extended period of time and the well was drained leaving no water for the next guests who had traveled from Tennessee with 4 people. It has not been my experience that wells suddenly drain themselves, the well has functioned perfectly since so obviously there is not a well problem. Leaving one possible cause being that water was left on in one of the 3 bathrooms or kitchen. Due to the lack of water and the need for time to allow the well to fill back up, I had to move this family to a much smaller 2 bedroom cabin for 1 night so the well could recover and refund them $100. I have photographs of the food and cigarette ashes next to the hot tub. I would really have liked to upload them in this response but VRBO does not have uploads available. I made 4 calls to her she did not answer. She could have been fined $700 abuse of our property. I charged $220 + tax. I was more fair given the damage and the resulting loss of income due to the refund.
SPECtacular by Renee 06/19/2015
Beautiful view!! We enjoyed having coffee while sitting on the swinging bench on the porch, and watching the sunrise with our pups every morning. This home is very inviting, and so are the owners. We caught a lightening storm in the distance one night, while in the hot tub. Very cool to watch the bats and the fireflies above, and lightening in the distance. We would pull the dogs beds out to the porch with us, and they enjoyed the quiet vistas just as much!!

Beautiful View/Secluded Cabin
My girlfriend and I spent the weekend at this beautiful cabin with our dogs. Absolutely loved that it was pet friendly. Waking up and watching the sunrise is a MUST here! The view couldn't be any better. We also enjoyed going into the fun little town, Blue Ridge, for dinner and some drinks. The inside of this cabin is very clean and up to date. It had everything we needed. Loved eating our meals out on the table on the porch! Susan was so helpful and quickly responded to us when we needed her. Super sweet lady to work with! Thanks again for letting us stay at you're beautiful cabin! We will be back for sure!

Amazing One of a Kind by Christopher 05/14/2015
Amazing and One of a Kind
This place is truly incredible. No better way to relax and looking at this view for an entire weekend. The owner was extremely kind and very pleasant to deal with and the place was in tiptop shape. Plenty of room to spread out including a basement with pool table and ping-pong. And we absolutely love that it was at the very top with virtually no neighbors.

Family Getaway by Annie 04/23/2015
Family Getaway
We had a great time at the cabin this weekend. We were meeting family there. The view was great. The cabin was rustic. We really enjoyed having a fire in the fireplace, grilling on the deck, getting in the hot tub at night, and swinging on the porch swing enjoying the view. We viewed wonderful sunrises and sunsets. The guys even played table tennis in the basement. This is a great place to relax, and the Blue Ridge area has so much to do: ziplining, whitewater rafting, hiking, kayaking, shopping, etc. We hope to come back!

Amazing by Michelle 03/26/2015
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this cabin and the well equiped kitchen. It gave me all the comforts of home plus a few extras that
I dont have. The cabin is very welcoming to pets as there were pets beds, treats and food and water dishes all laid out for your four-legged friends. It is located on the outskirts of town but very convienant to shops, grocery stores, Merciers and Walmart. I have stayed at several cabins over the years but this one far exceeds all - most definately one that I will visit again.

Beautiful Cabin and View by Ron & Julie 03/12/2015
Beautiful Cabin and View.
We stayed here for a long weekend and the cabin and views were gorgeous. Everything was exactly the same as you see in the pictures. Suzan was absolutely wonderful to work with and has done an amazing job with this cabin, I love the door handles, very unique. I have a Ford Explorer and the ride up and back down was a bit scarey, but we had no ploblems getting up and down the mountain and it rained almost the entire time we were there. We will definitely be renting from this company again. Ron & Julie Waynesboro, Ga
